The Center for Peace Education (CPE) is open and willing to partner with individuals, seek institutions, troche organizations, cure corporations, etc. in helping to build a more peaceful and non-violent society. CPE believes that there is strength in partnership. Together, we can accomplish a whole lot more to enhance lasting peace in conflict-affected communities and/or post-conflict societies.
No organization is an island. We all need one another. Whether small or big, poor or rich; what matters most for CPE is our sincere determination and dedication to make our communities free from violence and/or crime. If you subscribe to this belief, then we are partners for building a Culture of Peace and as partners, together we can go a long way to accomplishing this noble cause.
CPE believes that to achieve peaceful co-existence and social harmony in communities requires the seeds for peace to be planted and nurtured as painstakingly as the farmer tends to his or her crop before he or she can celebrate a bumper harvest. CPE’s motto, “Planting Seeds to Harvest a Peaceful Tomorrow”, reflects this belief.
That is why we are inviting you to partner with us As partners, together we can facilitate and enhance the teaching of peace around the world, most especially in communities which are prone to violence and those which are emerging from a brutal civil war, such as Liberia, Sierra Leone, Libya, Mali, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Central African Republic, Afghanistan, Egypt, Tunisia, and Uganda; just to name a few.
