  • Partnerships for Peace

    The success of our emergency response efforts and all of our programs can only happen thanks to our enduring partnerships for peace. They connect our team of field workers and volunteers on the ground in Liberia to our network of compassionate donors.

    By supporting CPE, you are partnering directly with resilient Liberians longing for the promise of a peaceful tomorrow through the following:

    • Funding peace education programs to cultivate norms for peaceful cooperation in schools and communities
    • Fostering the deployment of volunteer mediators that are reducing conflicts and chronic violence in schools and communities
    • Providing school meals and school scholarships that keep children in school
    • Reaching out to and reintegrating out-of-school youth
    • Teaching literacy classes to vulnerable youth that never learned to read and write
    • Mobilizing and modeling collective civic action, such as community cleanup campaigns
    • Helping CPE provide emergency outreach and distribute PPE, combatting Ebola in 2014 and COVID-19 in 2021
